Bait and Switch
You Are Not Allowed To Be Gay Anymore
‘Gay underwear’ is a thing. Has been for decades. (Do straight people know this?) It makes sense when you think about it; when straight men shop they are just buying underwear, but gay men are not just looking at the product, they’re looking at the models wearing the underwear. So the marketing is different. Plus, A LOT of gay men spend A LOT of time working out to look good and want to show off their bodies. So the gay man market is sizable enough that there are MANY brands catering to this demographic.
C-in2, AussieBum, Nasty Pig, Pump!, Coyote, Awry, Garçon, Cocksox, N2N, Cellblock 13, Addicted, Club Seven, Breedwell…these are just a few to mention.
[Fun side note: Back in 2003, when I was having a big ‘coming out’ party for my comic strip at a gay nightclub, I got sponsorships from a bunch of companies, including an underwear brand called ‘baskit’.]
Andrew Christian is a very well-known brand that hires gay porn actors as models. I just came across this repost on X:
I confess I don’t remember this controversy, but then again I don’t remember this video or even this song. (I also have no idea who/what ‘Mr. Pop’ is either, LOL.)
But the point the reposter made about this is very true.
He’s right. Gay men can’t even have gay underwear anymore. We can’t have ANYTHING of our own anymore. And not because of Conservatives—it’s because our Queer overlords won’t let us.
When I was on Instagram (I deleted it a few years ago), I got ads for these gay-dollar-chasing companies CONSTANTLY. The algorithm finds you. Some of these brands openly advertise to gay men, but even the ones who don’t explicitly state that gays are their target customer…well, we all know what they’re doing. They use gay-baiting models in sexy poses, often in clinches. Straight men are not buying these products.
Here are some examples from one such brand, Adonis:

On March 31, Adonis sent an email out to customers advertising a new blue-shaded collection. There was no reference whatsoever to that day’s ‘holiday’ (Trans Day of Visibility) and there were no explanations of the models chosen. There were just photos of models in the product, as per usual. Here are the models:

If you’re scrolling past on your phone quickly, you might not notice. But my eye stopped because, in contrast to the other models I had seen, there was an ‘uncanny valley’ feeling to these ‘men’. The mastectomy scars, most glaringly. Then there were the exaggerated, unconvincing bulges. These were women. This is a gay brand trying to ‘entice’ gay men to accept women.
Here is the message I wrote to them:
And here is the polite response I received the next day:
‘The broader LGBTQ+ community’. The message is clear: We don’t care what you think. Gay men are not allowed to be simply gay anymore. You are only allowed to be ‘part of the LGBTQ+ community’. That includes ‘trans’, and ‘trans’ will always take precedence.
Don’t be fooled by the politeness. The message is the same as this:
From a previous ‘welcome’ email I received from Adonis, here are the words of the brand’s founder:
It’s true; they do have, ummmm, one plus-size model, so they are reaching out to larger men. But he is actually a man.
I think it’s worth noting that you will never see any white models on Adonis’ site. Their version of ‘diversity’ and ‘inclusivity’ favors women posing as men over white men. (So much for me thinking I was doing something good by ‘supporting black-owned businesses’.)
To be fair, they can sell to whomever they want. I’m sure the money from deluded women is just as good as the money from the population who actually have penises to fill that fabric in the front. But don’t gay-bait and then tell gay men they have to be OK with this.
‘Inclusivity’ is used as an empathy trap. ‘Inclusivity’ is toxic because it means nothing is allowed to be exclusive anymore. You are not allowed to be exclusively attracted to men. You are not allowed to be gay.
It goes beyond marketing. It’s everywhere. When I say everywhere, I mean everywhere.
You are not allowed to object to being forced into ‘LGBTQIA+’ at your job. If you try, you’ll get a polite response about DEI and told that the company supports the ‘LGBTQIA+ community’.
When I write to my representative in Congress, expressing that I reject the term ‘LGBTQ+’ and explaining my issues with the harms ‘gender identity’ poses on gay people, I get a response ignoring everything I wrote.
This response says: “You are not allowed to be gay; you are LGBTQ+.”
Surveys cluster you into a category. Your choices are to be included within the alphabet mafia, or erased completely.
There are no dating/hookup apps exclusively for men. None. If you specify you’re only interested in MEN, you get kicked off.
But you ARE allowed to say you’re only interested in ‘trans’. Funny, that.🤔
Worse, they promote ‘trans’—the ‘gay apps’ are pushing gay men to transition. When you open up the app, you see ads like this:
When they’re not pushing gay men to trans themselves, they’re pushing gay men to have straight sex with creepy mutilated women:
There are no gay-only groups on Reddit—they get removed if you try to start one. The ones that are called ‘gay’ are ‘trans inclusive’. (Yes, even the Conservative ones.)
There is no gay media anymore. ALL of them are trans-centered. ALL OF THEM. So-called ‘Gay Times’ emphasizes ‘#WithTheT’.
They don’t even try to hide their hatred of gay men. Here’s a recent post about ‘t-fags’. Yes, the ‘Gay Times’ is celebrating women who pretend to be gay men and call themselves ‘trans fags’.
Why is it even still called Gay Times?! They hate us but they want to be us. It’s insane.
This all coming from the Left, correct? As much as I want to say that’s true, even the Log Cabin Republicans are all about the TQ!
We can’t even have a dating show exclusively for gay men, as I’ve written about before:
I can’t think of anyplace/anything that is exclusively for gay MEN only. I challenge you to name some. I’ll be very grateful to be proven wrong! Give it your best shot in the comments:

I've come to the painful conclusion that the acceptance we felt so chuffed about was only surface-deep. Beneath the surface lay the deep discomfort with same-sex desire that had always been there. Now the QT+ agenda has made it safe to bring that discomfort out in the open. Bigots can breathe easy: Just as was rumored for decades, Gay people can be understood as people "born in the wrong body." There's no difference between Gay, Bisexual and Trans and we admit as much when we accept the absurd "LGBTQQIAWTF+" acronym. And when we accept the label "queer," that reinforces even more harmful stereotypes. That throws open a door to fetishists and poseurs and pedophiles and everything under the sun. You're absolutely right - in the public mind today, there's no such thing as just being Gay and there never was. Gay = Queer, and Queer is an undifferentiated mass of abnormality. The most disturbing part for me is that, according to Queer Theory, all of these sex and gender identities are purely performative. We're just playacting, after all, so WHY NOT sleep with women posing as men, or vice-versa?
The divorce from the "TQ+" simply cannot come soon enough.
